Galentine's Day is something you should have marked on your calendar. Basically, it's like Valentine's Day, only instead of celebrating the love you have for your significant other, you spend it with your best girlfriends, who are, after all, your soul mates, and therefore deserve a holiday all to themselves, too.

Galentine's is meant to celebrate the friendship between girlfriends; a day that's not about who's in a relationship or not, but for a group of women to celebrate each other.  So, mark your calendars, gather the girls, Galentine's Day occurs every year on February 13th, the night before the "big" event, and calls for the wining and dining of your best girlfriends - no boyfriends or husbands allowed.

At the end of the day, the most important thing to do is have fun. The day is for you and your friends, and the perfect brunch is one next to them.
