Support the artists: We will have events, gigs, exhibitions cancelled. We will see a drop in sales. And the sad, honest truth is, some of us won't stay afloat. Please help... If you're stuck home buy a little something from an independent artist. Maybe something to cheer yourself up. A notebook, a poster, a t-shirt, a card, a puzzle... Believe me, we'll really appreciate it.

There is a lot of uncertainty when it comes to dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. While there isn’t a whole lot we can do as restrictions are put in place, there are a few measures we can take to support our favorite local businesses during these unsettling times. I’ve come to expect how I earn a living doesn’t fit our bureaucratic norms, despite the fact there are lots of us. I'm worried about small businesses and I'm doing what I can to help. I'm also worried about my own small business, which doesn't sell food or drinks but instead my talents with art and design. We're less visible.
Designers on Zazzle rely on their income to pay the bills.

But as the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis has burgeoned, the market to display and sell art has vanished. Musicians can’t go to theaters, restaurants or bars to play. Museums and galleries are closed. Weddings — and the related industry of designers, florists and photographers — are being canceled. For many artists, the sudden evaporation of venues and events has decimated their income.

Supporting small business is so important right now, and there are many ways you can help! Here are some suggestions how you can show your support.
🖤 Follow a small business on social media and like a bunch of their posts
🖤 Shop online with a small business
🖤 Pick up or order food from a local restaurant
🖤Recommend your favourite small business to friends, family and online followers
🖤 Buy a gift card to use at a later date
